01What does KeystoneOps do
We build internal operations systems for small and mid-sized businesses. We review how the work runs today and decide what to fix, design and build the system that is needed, then run it with you on a monthly basis. KeystoneOps is a Korean business registered in Gangnam, Seoul (registration number 306-08-53449) and is not affiliated with similarly named companies or software products overseas.
02When is a custom system better than off-the-shelf software
When the core flow of your business does not fit the shape of the available tools. If you are stitching several tools together and re-keying the result into a spreadsheet, or paying for features you never open while the field you actually need is missing, a custom system usually costs less. For standardised areas such as accounting or payroll we will tell you to buy, not build.
03What size of company do you work with
We look at the complexity of the work rather than the headcount. Five people juggling sites, stock and settlement need a system, fifty people doing something simple and repeatable do not. Our clients are generally not software companies.
04How long does it take
It depends on scope, but nothing waits for a big launch. The most urgent flow goes into real use first, then scope widens on a short cycle. We confirm scope on the first call and set out timing in the proposal.
05How is pricing structured
Build work is priced against an agreed scope, and ongoing support is a fixed monthly fee. We do not bill by the hour. Scope and price are written into the proposal, and a change of scope is re-agreed rather than absorbed quietly.
06Who owns the system and the data
Your operating data and content are your assets, kept in a standard exportable form. Rights over source code and deliverables are set out explicitly in the contract.
07What does ongoing support include
Incident response and backup checks, improvements raised during real use, data management, and usage documentation kept current for handovers and new starters. Large new feature work is scoped separately.
08Can this run remotely
Yes. We are registered in Seoul and work remotely by default, with site visits for the stages that need eyes on the floor, such as the initial review. We work in Korean and English.
09How do I get in touch
Use the form on the contact page or email info@keystoneops.biz directly. Two or three lines on what is stuck is enough, a tidy requirements document is not needed.
